Terms of Use

Welcome to Tulip Society's members platform (“Platform”). By accessing or using the Platform you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not accept all of the Terms, please do not use the Platform.
1. Definitions
- Tulip Society, “we,” “our,” or “us” means Tulip Society, a Dutch‐registered organisation.
- Member or “you” means any natural person who has applied for membership, has been approved and paid the applicable fees.
- Services means the Platform, member‐only content, and any event tickets or related services offered through the Platform.
2. Eligibility & Account Registration
- You must be 18 years or older and capable of forming a binding contract under Dutch law.
- You agree that the information you provide when creating an account is accurate, complete, and kept up to date.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your credentials; keep your password secure.
3. Membership, Fees & Auto-Renewal
- Membership is fee-based and renews automatically every 12 months. The renewal fee is charged to the payment method on file on the renewal date.
- Cancellation: send an email to membership@tulip-society.com at any time. We will process your cancellation within 30 days; you will retain access until the end of the current paid term.
- No refunds are provided for any portion of a membership term that is unused or upon cancellation.
4. Event Tickets
- Event tickets are sold through Weeztix, a third-party ticketing partner. Weeztix’s own terms and conditions apply to each ticket purchase.
- Ticket transfer, resale, or other conditions are governed by Weeztix’s rules. Tulip Society has no obligation to facilitate transfers or refunds beyond those rules.
5. Payments & Third-Party Services
- All payments are processed by Stripe. By purchasing a membership you also agree to Stripe’s terms of service and privacy policy.
- The Platform uses Memberstack for account management. Your use of Memberstack functionality is subject to Memberstack’s terms and policies.
- Tulip Society is not liable for the acts or omissions of Stripe, Memberstack, Weeztix, or any other third-party providers.
6. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation;
- Attempt to access or tamper with non-public areas of the Platform;
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services;
- Use the Services for any fraudulent, harmful, or unlawful purpose.
7. Suspension & Termination
We may, without prior notice, suspend or terminate your access if:
- You fail to pay fees when due;
- You breach these Terms or any law;
- We determine, in our sole discretion, that your conduct may harm Tulip Society, other Members, or third parties.
- We are under no obligation to provide an appeal process.
8. Intellectual Property
The Platform and all content we provide remain the property of Tulip Society or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms grants you any intellectual-property licence except the limited right to use the Services in accordance with these Terms.
9. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and process personal data. By using the Services, you acknowledge that processing and agree to the practices described there.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tulip Society disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tulip Society's total liability arising out of or relating to the Services will not exceed the total membership fees you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Tulpenbal will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Dutch law. Any dispute shall be submitted exclusively to the competent courts of the Netherlands.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Posting updated Terms on the Platform constitutes notice. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of revised Terms signifies acceptance of the changes.
14. Miscellaneous
- If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
- Our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver.
- These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Tulip Society regarding the Services and supersede all prior agreements.
