Sparkling Art Matinée

During the Tulips Ball weekend, we warmly invite you to a cultural moment designed to delight the senses while enjoying a glass of sparkling wine.

On Saturday, 30 May, join us at the charming Bredius Museum, located on Lange Vijverberg in the heart of The Hague. From its windows, you can enjoy a stunning view of the Hofvijver pond and the historic Parliament buildings, a perfect backdrop that combines the city’s elegance with its rich history. This central location offers a serene and inspiring setting, ideal as a prelude to an evening of art, culture, and celebration.

The Bredius Museum is housed in a beautifully preserved 18th-century mansion that once belonged to the renowned art historian and collector Abraham Bredius (1855–1946). His collection includes more than 200 paintings and drawings, featuring masterpieces from the Dutch Golden Age, including works by Rembrandt, Jan Steen, Aert van der Neer, and Meindert Hobbema. The museum also holds unique treasures such as the only perspective box in the Netherlands and rare works by Matthias Stomer.

During this exclusive Sparkling Art Matinée, you will enjoy a personal guided tour by the curator, who will share insights and stories about this intimate and historically rich collection.

Sparkling wine will be available throughout your visit, making it the perfect way to toast art, culture, and togetherness, and an ideal prelude to the ball later that evening.

We look forward to welcoming you to this sparkling cultural experience.
