A wonderful way to kick off the Tulips Ball weekend and connect with both old and new friends. The pre-party, or Eintanzen, takes place at Restaurant Zilt, perched on the iconic Pier of Scheveningen.
Guests will enjoy dancing literally above the sea, with breathtaking panoramic views of the Scheveningen coastline and the Grand Hotel Amrâth Kurhaus, where the ball will be held the following evening.
The Eintanzen offers a relaxed and informal setting to meet fellow guests, who travel from more than 30 countries to attend the Tulips Ball weekend. It is the perfect opportunity to get to know the international community while preparing for the grand ballroom experience the next day.
During the evening, our own Black Tulip Society instructors Annabel Clanner von Engelshofen and Vincent Baron von Preuschen von und zu Liebenstein will guide guests through a dance lesson, including the Française, a traditional ballroom dance that usually takes place at midnight during classical balls. This year, the dance will be accompanied by the magnificent Conforte Symphonic Orchestra, consisting of over 50 musicians, creating a stunning spectacle. With elegant lines and precise choreography, it promises to be a visual and musical delight, and we warmly invite all guests to participate in this unforgettable experience.
A three-course buffet will be served, and guests are free to sit wherever they like, fostering a casual and convivial atmosphere. After the dance lesson and dinner, the evening continues with music and dancing late into the night. The glass ceiling of Restaurant Zilt offers a 360-degree view, allowing you to dance under the moonlight while taking in both the ocean below and the sky above.
The pre-party is a relaxed and enjoyable way to ease into the weekend, meet new friends, and get a taste of the ballroom festivities to come on Saturday night. Whether you are an experienced dancer or simply want to enjoy the atmosphere, the Eintanzen promises a magical start to an extraordinary weekend.
