New Year's Eve Ball

We are delighted to invite you to our annual New Year’s Eve Ball at Palazzo Colonna in Rome, held in the elegant Galleria del Cardinale on Wednesday, 31 December 2026. Hosted by Her Highness Princess Olimpia Colonna di Paliano, President of the Orange Tulip Society International, the evening offers a rare opportunity to gather within one of the great historic palaces of Rome, still privately inhabited by the Colonna family whose presence in the city can be traced back nearly a thousand years. For centuries, the Colonna family stood at the centre of Roman political and ecclesiastical life, closely connected to the Vatican and the papal court. The family produced Pope Martin V, whose election in 1417 helped bring an end to the Western Schism and restored the papacy to Rome. Through generations of cardinals, patrons of the arts, military leaders, and diplomats, the Colonna family played a lasting role in the history of the Eternal City, while Palazzo Colonna itself became a place of culture, influence, and hospitality at the heart of Roman society. The evening will begin with a reception at 18:00, followed by a three course dinner with wines and drinks included throughout the evening. As midnight approaches, we shall welcome the New Year together in the timeless atmosphere of Palazzo Colonna, with music, dancing, and celebration continuing until 03:00.
